40 – The Iron Shoe

In the name of the Great Life and in the name of the precious Truth.

An avatar preaches forth from beyond, and the Spirit answers him from the gates of darkness. “Who are you among the avatars,” she asks him, “that your voice is so lovely and your palate is so sweet?” To which I answer her, “May the Shout of the Life be on you, wicked Spirit, Spirit that always seeks evil. I am Radiant Hibel, I’m an iron shoe, an iron shoe am I, that has trampled down the darkness!” There she goes up to him and says, “Take from me the beloved gold and silver, which are worth more than a wife or a child, and sing me some of your lofty songs.” But I say to her, “I’m a well-armed avatar, which is sent against the demons, I’ve come to trample the darkness. A well-armed avatar am I, whom the Life has prepared and sent forth. A well-armed avatar am I, King of the Universe. I am a well-armed avatar, whose power is hard against you. A well-armed avatar am I, who is better armed than any other avatar.”

Life is exalted and is victorious, and victorious is the man who has gone there.
